Farsons Traditional Shandy
Farsons Traditional Shandy has a pale gold color that is typical of
many traditional India Pale Ales. This is not surprising since the brew
which serves as the basis for Farsons Traditional Shandy is none
other than the Hopleaf Pale Ale whose origins go back to the days of
the British Empire.
The Hopleaf Pale Ale was first brewed by Simonds Farsons Cisk in 1928
and the same brew is still used today as the basis for Farsons
Traditional Shandy. This gives the it a distrinctive straw colour and
biscuity malt aroma.
Farsons Traditional Shandy combines a genuine India Pale Ale with all natural lemon flavors. Each bottle contains 50% traditionally brewed real ale. ABV
content is 2.2%.
Available in 33cl glass bottles in six packs.
