Cisk XS - Extra Strong Lager
‘Cisk XS - Extra Strong Lager’ is a relatively recent addition to the
‘Cisk’ portfolio. Created in 2005, Cisk XS has been doing brisk
business in Europe, probably due to the fact that notwithstanding the
relatively high alcohol content, it has proven to be a refined, complex
and drinkable beer.
Unlike some other extra strong beers, where
the strength of the brew comes across immediately upon taking the first
sip, Cisk XS has achieved a great balance between potency and
drinkability. It is a bottom fermented, smooth, fruity and full bodied
beer that goes extremely well with various foods including pasta and
meat dishes.
Cisk XS is deep golden colored
beer. Despite its relatively high alcohol content (9% ABV), Cisk XS is
quite different from many other strong beers on the market today. It is
a delicately fragranced beer that is characterized by a surprisingly
smooth finish which belies its strength. It is an outstanding bottom
fermented beer brewed from barley malt.
It has a mellow-bitter
taste that is very easy on the palate with a fresh hop aroma which
gives this high gravity beer its strong continental flavor.
Available in 33cl glass bottles in six packs.
