About Veltins'
C. & A. Veltins Brauerei, brewers of Veltins Pilsner, has grown from a small public house brewery to become one of Germany’s leading and most progressive breweries. Veltins owes much of it growth to its fourth and fifth generation matriarchs, Susanne Veltins and her mother Rosemarie.
The leadership of these two women became a driving force in technological advancement of Veltins Brewery, and its rapid volume growth in Germany and on the international scene.
Veltins Pilsener is a delightfully rich, crisp German Pils, yet a bit more delicately hopped than its German competitors such as Bitburger or Warsteiner. As such, Veltins maintains it’s nearly two centuries of brewing traditions, yet is poised and positioned for contemporary international tastes.
